Guinea is a country located in West Africa, bordered by Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Mali, Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. The official language is French, and the currency is the Guinean franc. Guinea is also known for its natural resources, including bauxite, gold, and diamonds. The country has several protected areas such as the Haut Niger National Park and the Mount Nimba Strict Nature Reserve. The capital and largest city is Conakry, known for its bustling markets, and landmarks such as the Conakry Grand Mosque and the Palais du Peuple.
