Burundi

Burundi is a country located in East Africa, bordered by Tanzania to the east and south, Rwanda to the north, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. The official languages are Kirundi, French, and English, and the currency is the Burundian franc. Burundi has a presidential representative democratic republic form of government, and the current President is Évariste Ndayishimiye.

Burundi has a developing economy based on agriculture and mining. The country has been affected by political instability and civil conflict in recent years. It is known for its diverse culture, with many ethnic groups and traditional music and dances, and its natural beauty, including the Rusizi National Park and the Kibira National Park. The capital and largest city is Bujumbura, known for its landmarks such as the Burundi National Museum and the University of Burundi.
